RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Our R&D programs are in the areas of biomarker discovery and new assay technology development.

ASSAY DEVELOPMENT

We are developing new assays for analysis of the transcriptome and proteome.  We have a number of grant funded and collaborative projects with academic and industry partners.  Our R&D team brings together innovative thinking, extensive experience in assay development, and a wide range of skills including chemistry, molecular biology, genomics, informatics, and process development.

DISCOVERING AND ANALYZING BIOMARKERS

Our discovery efforts make use of next-generation sequencing platforms from Illumina and Life Technologies.  You can learn more about the technologies and applications at www.sequensysbio.com.

BIOINFORMATICS AND DATA ANALYSIS

We use a combination of open source and proprietary software to extract biologically relevant information from terabytes of data, and apply systems biology approaches in downstream data analysis.
