Our focus is on discovery and implementation of novel genomics and proteomics assays for biomarker discovery and diagnostics for personalized medicine.
Assay Development
We are developing new assays for analysis of the genome and proteome. We have a number of grant-funded and collaborative projects with academic and industry partners. Our R&D team brings together innovative thinking, extensive experience in assay development, and a wide range of skills including chemistry, molecular biology, genomics, informatics, and process development.
Our research focus is on genomic and proteomic applications that leverage our expertise in microarray technology, next-generation sequencing, and assay development for high complexity biological systems.
Next-Generation Sequencing
We make use of next-generation sequencing platforms in our research. Sequensys®, our commercial services division, provides next-generation sequencing services to the scientific community. Sequensys is an Illumina® Certified Service Provider (CSPro).
Bioinformatics and Data Analysis
We use a combination of open source and proprietary software to extract biologically relevant information from large data sets, and apply systems biology approaches in downstream statistical analysis. Our expertise includes algorithms and high performance computing pipelines for application of computationally demanding methods to analyze complex biological systems.
